The Bicilicuadora project got going in September of 2007. Charlie and myself were taking a module at the ORT in Montevideo (Uruguay) called “Emprendimiento” (Entrepreneurship). After the first class, it was obvious that Diego, the lecturer was far from conventional. The young, but yet seasoned entrepreneur explained our assesment for the course:
“Salir y hacer plata” was written on the board. This literally means “Go out and make money” and this is what he meant.
