We had not bothered to book anything and tried to ring around some place from the boat terminal with no luck – just one answer – “We are full, sorry”. However we marched on using our semi-fame from the previous visit (communal cottage pie and steak dinner never fails to impress) to the Casa Fitz Roy. We checked out another hotel that had a chep room round the corner but although the owner was nice, the room smelt damp and currently only had a double bed. So we waited, and waited until finally some Brazilian girls decided to leave and so wouldnt be using their beds. Great! Once we had this confirmed we went out and met all the Bath crew that had made it to Buenos Aires (Rich, Naomi, Emma N, Jo, Gigi). We decided to dine at a nice looking restaurant called Guran which had a great ambiance however the food was pretty average and Jo hardly ate any so called Ceaser salad due to its fishy tasting sauce. However, for the girls at least the trip was worth while as the waiter was drop dead gorgeous (apparently).
